H5 Appoints Former Xerox Executive as Chief Technology Officer
Former Xerox Global Services CTO and PARC veteran Robert Bauer brings over 30 years of industry experience to H5
SAN FRANCISCO, CA - December 7, 2006 - H5, the leading provider of automated document analysis and information risk management services for the legal industry, today announced that Dr. Robert S. Bauer has joined the company as Chief Technology Officer. As CTO, Dr. Bauer will be responsible for designing H5's technology development strategy and leading the company's effort to build out its infrastructure and capabilities in anticipation of an increase in high-volume, large-scale project deployments.

With over thirty years of research, technology and management expertise, Dr. Bauer has spent much of his career turning theoretical ideas into marketable offerings. Prior to joining H5, Dr. Bauer was vice president and CTO of Xerox Global Services, where he helped companies improve productivity, mitigate risks, enhance decision-making and reinvent the way they communicate and collaborate. Bauer was a member of Xerox's Palo Alto Research Center (PARC) since its inaugural year of 1970, and was responsible for a number of PARC's research and development projects. He also helped create PARC's Advanced Systems Development Laboratory, in which his teams delivered socio-technical innovations that leveraged deep understanding of how people work and how they can better manage increasing amounts of information in the workplace.
