Lon Troyer is Managing Director of H5’s Professional Services Group (PSG), which harnesses H5’s scientific and information retrieval expertise to implement solutions to clients’ “big data” compliance and litigation challenges. The PSG leverages search and artificial intelligence technologies as well as extensive investigative experience to scope, design, and implement innovative solutions.
Drawing on his diverse background in linguistic modeling, advanced information retrieval strategies, and project management, Dr. Troyer leads H5 engagement teams in the identification of key documents and fact patterns that help H5’s corporate and legal clients meet production obligations and advance their case strategies.
During his career at H5, Dr. Troyer has worked domestically and internationally on dozens of high-stakes matters in a wide variety of industries, including antitrust, class action, IP and other types of litigation, as well as internal and government investigations.
Prior to joining H5, Dr. Troyer taught constitutional law in graduate school at the University of California, Berkeley and gained practical experience in corporate law at Sidley Austin LLP. Dr. Troyer earned his undergraduate degree at Williams College and his Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley.
